As the fall season begins to creep in, the air is cooling in the Green Mountains. I’ve noticed that during the transitional months of fall and spring, fog is more prevalent here. And foggy mornings, while devoid of actual sun, produce some pretty stunning views.
Just before the actual sunrise, I heard flapping on the water, and caught a cormorant indulging in a relatively large fish — almost bigger than its head. The other cormorants were on standby.
